Hunter Cancer Charity Receives Big Christmas Donation

The Kaden Centre were honour to be named a grant recipient at the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation’s December grant giving ceremony on Thursday, 6th December 2018.  The Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation aims to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those in need. This year alone the Foundation has provided more than $1.5 million in grants and has provided $19.1 million over the last 15 years, to more than 448 community initiatives in regional NSW.

The Charitable Foundation has awarded us a $63,000 grant to refurbish and expand our Warabrook facility to cater for the rapidly growing demand for our services. Our centre is incredibly grateful to receive the generous donation and appreciate the Charitable Foundation’s continued support of our wonderful community.

“It is about life, and about quality of life, and what the Newcastle Permanent Charity Foundation is doing is just forming such a very strong foundation for us,” said Suzanne Clark-Pitrolo, The Centre Managing Director.
